The venue was fantastic little, I really enjoyed the location really close to the tram from the airport to St maria novella, the Florence and the center of Florence with the duomo at 5min walk, and courtyard views. The room was perfectly clean and huge, had private bathroom. Had very central location on surrounding sights.

Lovely, well-kept, clean B&B - nice location on east, less-touristic side of Duomo - stumbling distance to the party street near Santa Croce (but not too close!), nice selection of restaurants nearby and strolling distance to all the major sites - decent breakfast, free Wifi (note on Academia museum: we went 20mins before it closed and had 'David' all to ourselves for final 5mins - divine!)
No major hiccups - only suggestion would be to pay the extra for room with private bath. We had to change our reservation and all that was left was room with bathroom outside room, which was located near front desk and entry wall - I could care less to walk thru lobby in robe, but wife didn't like it so much. Nearby parking (not associated with B&B) is pricey at 30E/night, might be worth searching for cheaper options if you have the time

Great central location, super close to the center. It was handy being able to swing by Il Vivandiere, which is just a hop, skip, and jump away! 🍽️

This was a lovely place to stay. I was nervous about the bathroom set-up--the private-but-separate bathroom to the Studiolo 6 is actually outside the house, in the hallway, and you have to step into the reception area to get there. But I easily adjusted to this, especially with the kind loan of a comfortable bathrobe. Tiziana and Beatriz were both very welcoming, and the breakfasts were pleasant and excellent. They kindly shared with me the recipe for their wonderful cake. It is rare that Internet wifi works so well. I had no problems accessing my mail and information through the two computers that stood in the breakfast room. With the exception of one evening, the hotel was remarkably quiet, and even on that one evening, things quieted down reasonably early. The key system was efficient. And the bed? The absolutely most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. Location is great--it was very easy to walk everywhere I wanted to go. What else? Well, the fact that Casa Rovai is in Florence is also a big plus! I would recommend this place to anyone--there were families with young children, and it seemed to have an international feel--not strictly Americans!
If I were to find a thing to complain about, it would be the lighting in the room....a bit more reading light would have been great.

The Casa Rovai Guest House is very nice, the staff is so welcoming and helpful. The room was charming and the location very central for walking around the city. We enjoyed the excellent breakfast and found two very nice places to eat thanks to recommendations provided. A wonderful experience, best accommodations we had during our trip to Italy. I would highly recommend to others. Thank you Casa Rovai for making our stay in Florence so memorable!
Nothing, everything about our stay was very nice.

Casa Rovai was perfect for our trip-it was centrally located but in an area full of tourists. The room and bathroom (down the hall but private) were exactly what I expected and as advertised; they were well appointed and tasteful, clean, and no bigger than necessary but plenty ample. The best asset is the staff, very welcoming and eager to help in any way possible, be it restaurant recommendations or bookings for museums. I would stay there again and recommend it to others.

It is close to the tourist center (Duomo, churches, museums...)
Reality does not correspond with the photographs in internet. Dirty, noisy, plain breakfast. Too expensive. Staff not very helpfull.
